crapload of buyers there shorts, be careful ... those were likely stops from longs, don't know how much initiative selling there was there...

I'm definitely not nimble enough.. though at this time of day it's pretty much the only way to really make money.. 2.5 hour range of 5 points

lol Gordon ... well, I'm flat right now so I have no emotional skin in the game but I know how it feels. As I mature as a trader I'm trying to let that emotional anxiety go when in a trade. Ideally we have none to begin with when we take the trade, but that takes some working to get there.

when you're short and it keeps hitting 48 and bouncing up, over and over and over, doesn't it just drive you bonkers? Well, for someone like me it does. Just wish you could push it over the ledge. Just want it to break so bad, but can't do a damned thing about it.. that's what makes trading...

I initially slightly regretted taking the profit at 50, but I expected little pushes up like this, and I would be out at 49.75 anyway.. this time of day, with this volume, as much as I'd like 44 or even 47, it's probably not the highest probability. When I can get 2 points at lunch time I'm happy.

44 almost looks almost too tempting to pass up, but lots of buyers from 47 to 48, momentum has died down, and it's lunch time ..

43.50 good downside target IMO, if one is short -- not convinced it will break lower though

NFP was pretty in-line, but unemployment was 8.6 -- best number in over 2 years and quite a difference from expected 9s again... if they need a reason maybe that's it.

May not be helpful, as I mark my zones ahead of time based on profiles and s/r and such so I don't remember why I marked these, but I had a 57 to 58.75 area marked on my chart, then 62 - 62.50, and next on mine is 73.50 to 75.50, then 82.25 to 83.75
