Time running out for anything of significance to happen. I still say a short somewhere up here for a gap fill would not be a bad idea.

Chances that we close somewhere in the middle of the day's range, forming an island doji on the daily, leading to massive shorting overnight into tomorrow?

I will be testing this statistically and will report my findings later this week.

actually 77.75 is the mode for ah and rth. But 75 is much more prominent on the globex distribution, pretty close (a few K contracts) to being the mode. Certainly the minor mode of the distribution, with 77.75 - 78 being the major. Just keeping it real, player

If the stars line up, will consider a short around 75.

Nice job so far satchel, great patience. I saw nothing objectively that led me to think a short was in order. After a 20 point gap up, we opened the RTH with buying, retraced, and aggressively bought and came within a tick of the globex high. Then we retraced on low volume, and the 77 that...

This post is entertaining, you just can't make up stuff this funny, unless it IS a joke, in which case kudos to the poster for being creative enough to do it: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3402755#post3402755

lol indeed it may Trvl ... but it's also possible this is a nice bear flag forming, and really the trade I was looking for should have already gone, so I'm out 77.50 for +0.25 ... hope it works out for you. If it breaks up, I just have to concede I was fooled... but it has had many...

I am cautious as three tries to 78.75 (current vpoc) fails to break through, and I see more red... perhaps 77 will hold again, but I am not confident it will, so I will look to get back in if stopped at 77.25. Stops need to be blown up top though. Target for long is 82.50

still bullish but they are having a hell of a time pushing it, and with decreasing interest in doing so thus far.
