Upper TL violated. Will see if 07 holds, if so could be a nice rally. http://screencast.com/t/GvbmzgW3eA

Shorts may have to be careful here, thrusts shorter and possible higher low. http://screencast.com/t/HUgCuPNjKyA

Thanks Picaso--will keep it on my charts for now and continue to watch. But for me the verdict is still out! :D

Also known as a volume profile (or if using TPOs, a market profile). When I post these shots from time to time, that's what you're seeing. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3325860#post3325860 EDIT and yes, ammo is the resident expert -- (just wish he'd use a...

For any market indicator, whether it be a/d, tick, etc., or whether it's an rsi, macd, etc., for it to be useful there must be some divergence that can be found between the indicator and price. In other words, if the indicator always moves with price, then it's simply redundant and does not...

Good calendar, you can filter out all except USD and have a pretty good picture of the day's news: http://www.forexfactory.com/calendar.php?do=geteventinfo&day=2011-10-14&c=2

Thanks, may give it a try if I can find the attention span for one more chart ;-)

Volume nowhere near what I would expect to see at a reversal point. Looks like healthy continuation IMO.

Do you find that NQ leads ES? I never watch NQ or YM.

Who is your data provider? Their daily data is obviously composed differently from IQFeed. http://screencast.com/t/cwcwLtLXskC (referring to the gap, I realize I'm looking at a slightly different contract than your chart)

There is probably huge supply here in this 14.50 to 24.50 range, from long time frame sellers who have been waiting to sell. I would expect MUCH larger volume before we see a major move down.

Anyone else think we find sellers at 14.50? If not 14.50, 24.50? http://screencast.com/t/yyoqsWDUFIqT Either way, I would want to see some serious buy volume in a very small range before I shorted.

Bulls may not be as much in the drivers seat, but sellers effort v. result is quite telling of how in control the bulls have been. Price on top and delta on bottom. http://screencast.com/t/HPpIy2n6FUzB

The "safe" stop here is below the 07, but I wouldn't let them take more than 50% either. Nice trade LF.

Nothing in the volume or order flow objectively indicates that, though anything can happen.

We now have two clearly defined areas of balance, with the support at 04.25. A move below that may mean a move deep into the second area, so my buy at 03.25 is off for now. http://screencast.com/t/lJWTA3zx
