Why would you bother. Just hold their money rather than place the trade. When the odd Trader's account becomes consistently in the black, then place his trades with the exchange and bank his comms in the normal manner.

Interesting comments JP. We live between Buenos Aires and Panamà and it provides a great contrast but always latin based. Next month we leave BA for Panamà, Cuba, DR, Miami etc. Very interested to watch real estate in DR. We are kiwis and have lived in US (CA&Fl), Italy, Aussie, England...

I think that trick is to keep the nasties out. They can do real damage before you can track them down.

Is it better to wire the second machine through the first machine or directly into the net. The 2nd machine is the trading machine.

If I have two PC's coupled to 2 flat monitors and one keyboard via 2-port KVM switch with one PC is solely dedicated to trading by only carrying ... iq feed + ensign software +front end execution. Does this machine require any protection at all? The other machine will carry mail, photos...

Interesting that you should have Panama at the front of your list. What especially do you favor about the place. I am interested in your thoughts.

Thanks sax. The reason for all my questions is because I live in buenos aires and communications between myself and my computor guy can go astray so easily and I do mean astray. If I install a 2KVM, how do I switch from one machine to another.

OK, I am convinced, I will stay with two separate machines. Next question. Can I link my machines through the same two flat screens, thereby getting rid of my third screen. At the moment I have one machine with two screens and another machine with one screen.

Thanks gnome, I only run three programmes, charting/iqfeed and front end. I email my front end accounts to myself each day until I can check them with my brokerage update and apart from that I run no backup. Are there any other issues that Iam overlooking?
