Musk weighs Twitter tender offer and says he's secured $46.5 billion in financing

"False and harmful"? Who's the judge of that? The Left believes anything which is anti their political agenda to be "false and harmful".

    Bear Red Flag?

Daily and shorter. Good idea to keep an eye on the daily even if intraday trader... for "things" like what happened yesterday.

Biden To Attack Republicans For Not Having A Plan To Bring Down Inflation

Biden bitchin' at the GOP for "not having a plan" to fix the problem his administration and Fed created? How disingenuous can you get? https://www.zerohedge.com/political/biden-attack-republicans-not-having-plan-bring-down-inflation

Musk weighs Twitter tender offer and says he's secured $46.5 billion in financing

I would like for Musk to take Twitter private... then see what he does with it in regards to free speech. The way it is now, Twitter censorship policies make it "not worth much".

Professional Services... One of the most undervalued industries

The reason I ask about an ETF it that it would reflect the "views on the group" in general.

Professional Services... One of the most undervalued industries

You know of an ETF for this group?

Musk weighs Twitter tender offer and says he's secured $46.5 billion in financing

Not an insider at you recognize... "A corporate insider is either a senior officer, director, or an above 10% equity owner." And even if he were an insider, he's not prohibited from making "public disclosure".

    Bear Red Flag?

The SPX has today "tested the 100 day MA from the underside while the slope of the MA has turned down". This is technically referred to as a "back test" or "back kiss". Technical traders (you know, "Price TA"?) have sold into this level. We'll just have to see whether or not it sticks. For...

Musk weighs Twitter tender offer and says he's secured $46.5 billion in financing

He's not an insider nor a member of the public with inside information (which would include members of legal profession with inside info relevant to what he's said). He can say whatever he wants. If investors care to act upon his words, it's their choice.

    What would you do if..

If you did this, you'd be opening yourself to "cutting your winners short and letting your losers run".

The "Big Picture" On Trading The Market At This Time... SPX/ES

I was just going to post a reference to what KCalhoun said over the weekend... (paraphrasing) "I'm not going to buy until new highs (that would be > 4640 for this correction or 4800+ on the entire structure) or unless the market bounces up off of 4100". That's 100% logical technical strategy...

The "Big Picture" On Trading The Market At This Time... SPX/ES

It's simple. Big support @ 4100. Resistance @ 4600. Buy Support. Sell Resistance. Chase breakouts of those levels. Everything between is mere noise... but can be traded if skilled, but don't have high expectations on individual plays. KISS, baby! :)

Wash sale rule for day traders

The way it's supposed to work... wash sale losses are added to the cost basis of your next trade. Therefore you should be about square on owing taxes. Supposed to be no way for you to have to pay tax on winning trades but not get to offset your losses against them. Whether or not the broker's...

A man bought an NFT for $2.9M, then listed it for $48M. The top bid was less than $280

Whether he sold it or not, he now has an idea of what it's actually worth. Realized or not, still a huge loss. (Of course that won't matter if he's a crypto million/billion-aire.

A man bought an NFT for $2.9M, then listed it for $48M. The top bid was less than $280

Wouldn't it be if there were no reserve? Wonder what kind of reserve he put on it, if he did.

A man bought an NFT for $2.9M, then listed it for $48M. The top bid was less than $280

Hard to feel sympathetic for a man who spends $2.9M on an NFT.

Oooh... my misstatement. I meant Sierra when I said "AMP". Conflation thingy. Apologies to all I confused.

1976 - 2020 - End of the presidential campaign as most of have known

Romney had PLENTY on which to attack Obama but didn't*. I always felt that Romney was trying to lose... so of course, their discourse seemed more civil. *Yet another reason Romney's a POT LICKER!

Thinking out loud…in this kind of environment….

I would add to that strategy... "IF the slope of the MA is upwards (or sideways may be OK, too)". Not saying it won't work if the slope is down... just works more reliably when it's positive.
