    Employer Paid College Tuition

Are they talking about, "4-years at high profile school like Duke or Stanford", or "2-years of local community college"? (Personally, I "bent over backwards" to get a college degree... pre-med.. Chemistry and Biology) for which I paid for 100%. Bottom Line... wasn't worth SQUAT for getting a...

Best low risk investments, Oct 2022

If rates are close to peak(?), 4% T-Bills are not bad.... same for Gov bond funds. Of course if rates move significantly higher, you might not want to be holding fixed income. I-bonds good too, but limit is only $10K... I did see where it's under consideration to raise that max to $30K(??).

    optimal point for profit taking

If you understand "support and resistance" (that's "Price TA", you know)... there are 2 most logical places to take profit. #1, is aggressively sell into what you presume to be exhaustion/resistance of your underlying, and #2, the issue has broken back against you enough so that it looks like...

Do all analysts use diluted earnings for estimated EPS?

Companies use whatever manipulations they need to beat estimates/lowered estimates.

How to become better at Technical Analysis?

There is also a "Micro ES"... MES symbol... trades 1/10 size of ES. Good one to get your feet wet.

How to become better at Technical Analysis?

In day trading the ES, there are usually 2-6 setups per day.

Greatest wealth transfer of all time... (spot the problem)

Part of the notion of a capitalistic economy is/was "creative destruction". That is, those who can't hack it go out of business. Those who can, flourish to one degree or another. We're paying the price right now.. for the Fed money-pumping to save all the marginal and zombie companies. :(

Bull Markets Are Comparitively Easy... Bear Markets Are Tough

The markets are very good at putting traders on "tilt". All need to be aware...

Greatest wealth transfer of all time... (spot the problem)

I always thought the best financial plan was to "run out of money on the day you die". If that be the case, younger generations would not inherit much. :)

Bull Markets Are Comparitively Easy... Bear Markets Are Tough

In Bull markets, the driving forces and sentiments are all "to the upside". In Bear markets, there are still bull forces/sentiment /hope which counter the negative psycho to the downside. This conflict of "not having the wind at your back" make trading a bear market much more difficult than...

Inflation from Money Printing, Survival, or Greed?

Maybe "invite folks over for dinner" instead of all that dining out. In my house, we used to go out for dinner a couple of times a week. Now, couple of times a YEAR! Besides the cost saving, likely to eat better food at home than in a restaurant. (I get it... eating at home all the time is...

CDC Set To Add COVID-19 Vaccines To Childhood Immunization Schedule

Unconscionable! 20,000,000 have died from the vaccine. 2+ BILLION have been severely injured from the vaccine. And now they mandate the vaccine for CHILDREN? That's evil as evil can be. https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/cdc-set-add-covid-19-vaccines-childhood-immunization-schedule

Inflation from Money Printing, Survival, or Greed?

Between the $8 coffee, the avocado toast, and leased BMWs... it's no wonder folks can't afford to repay their college loans. :)

How to become better at Technical Analysis?

A trader could make a good living by being good at only one of the major "often occurring" setups. (Wouldn't do much to be good at only the 50 day and 200 day setups... they don't occur often enough.):)

Inflation from Money Printing, Survival, or Greed?

I've calculated the cost of coffee in my house. Including the amortization of the coffee maker (say, 3 years), the cost of the filters and Starbucks coffee purchased at Costco. For a large travel cup (16-20 oz)... $0.10! (I did this a couple of years ago. With the inflation today, might be...

How to become better at Technical Analysis?

Yeah, well that's why I didn't go for Wave59. Though "computer does it all" except place your trades, it bothered for its complexity. Here's what you do... Get a basic book on TA. Learn about "Support" and "Resistance". That's all you need. Simple to understand. Lots of trader wannabes...
