I'll probably never have any real interest in cryptos unless I can get in on an ICO, get a "million or two" for <$.01, then dump them shortly after they go live. I was looking at that with the new Electroneum, but it ended up being a mess with the tokens not being released to the ICO investors...

I don't think I ever said "BTC "had no value"... as it clearly does even if only until the mania about it runs out. I did say it has "no backing" other than some people willing to keep paying up to buy it. Glad to know you're concerned about me, though. :)

Same thing. You can't even "read the charts" on 99% of the cryptos... they're virtually all in strong "down trends."... smacks of scam all around except for the biggies.

Pffft! How do you "dig out" which cryptos to buy and which to avoid? You need to do better than "do your homework". My take at this time is that there is not "homework to be done". Nobody knows CRAP about which cryptos will be good among the huge field of fails.

You say you've "got a GI bug". If that happens to be amoebic dysentery, you wouldn't want that to go untreated. Go to the doctor. He'll take a sample and check it out in the lab. If it's dysentery, it won't "get better" on its own.

Do you set up your account with the exchange/broker using hardware wallet (HW) right from the start? Deposit money into the HW, buy cryptos through the HW, proceeds credited to HW? When you sell, sell from HW, sales proceeds credited to HW? Currency wired/transferred from HW to your bank...
