Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

Lots of emotion and strong opinion surrounding the market's "trigger" words.... "edge" being one of them.

Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

Atta boy. Keep the confusion flowing.

Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

Nope. You are "injecting your subjective view". Proper TA trading in the markets is "objective"... not subject to personal understanding/whim. More like a physics problem.

Facebook Founder Warns "God Only Knows What It's Doing To Kids' Brains"

In one way, FB is a TERRIBLE THING! We have an entire generation (as well as others) who have their noses buried into their iPhones... at every available moment... 24/7. It's like an addiction...

Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

WRONG about it being "nothing more than " ____________". I do NOT agree about it being "nothing more" as you've described. (++ for the pint) As for "indicators", most aspiring TA'ers don't use them correctly, either.

Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

Geez Tomm... as much as I respect your posts... you apparetnly don't get it either. Yes, it's not "magic". But it's also much more than "running some MAs over the market". (And in my trading, I don't consider volume at all.)

Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

Some claim that, but only because they don't understand how to do it correctly.

Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

    1. Price chart TA works the same on ALL time frames. Each time frame has its own parameters. 2. You should only care about fundies as they are reflected in the charts. IOW... FORGET ABOUT FUNDAMENTALS if you're a trader. Get your money "in tune" with what the players are doing and forget...

Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

Sounds like you might not be using proper buffers. That is, perhaps using on a 5-min chart what you might on a longer term one. Whatever time frame your chart... it stands alone... with its own buffers/stops/reversal... independent of longer time frames. Shorter duration charts will have more...

Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

Suggest you get a handle on K.I.S.S. You appear to making it "complicated enough" to hose your efforts.

Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

CORRECTAMUNDO! Price Chart TA works in ALL TIME FRAMES AND IN ALL MARKETS! It shows what players are actually DOING with their money. THAT'S what we traders need to understand and "get in tune with" as best we can.

The House Republican tax reform plan would add $1.7 trillion to the U.S. national debt

Even worse... Odumbo added to the national debt in the WORST possible way... perpetual programs of handouts... much of which to illegals. :(

What do you use to elevate your desktop off the floor?

You mean you don't know? Wiping away the tears from losing trades, of course.

Partial TPs/Scaling out/Exit half, your thoughts?

I've traded a long time. Much of my success has come from a relatively small percentage of plays/years. (Trading's version of the 80/20 principle). Almost all years, I've made OK/decent money... depending how you quantify that. But a few years, I made BIG money... at least for me... multi...

Partial TPs/Scaling out/Exit half, your thoughts?

Not me. I have never "scaled in or out". To make any REAL money in the markets, you have to make large, unhedged bets... and be correct about them (that's where TA comes in, if you didn't know)... with stops. Must use stops to control the downside when wrong. Rinse and repeat. You can scale...

Partial TPs/Scaling out/Exit half, your thoughts?

Speaking of "scaling in"... from Richard Dennis of Turtles fame.... He once said, "I scale in, but I do it so quickly as to be about the same as going all in at once". IOW... there could be benefits to "scaling in", but not necessarily a correct play. However if the "scaling in" trade were to...

American Woman Faces 20 Years In Zimbabwe Jail For Tweet About Mugabe

Short-Volatility Funds Are Being Flooded With Cash

Recall back in the tech bubble.... John Bollinger was on TV highlighting the divergence in "tech vs breadth". That is, tech soaring while the A/D worked lower and lower. It was an indication "everybody's selling everything else and piling into tech". He rationalized how "bullish" that was...

"THIS Penny Crypto Coin Is About To Take Off!"

Admitted noob about cryptos... Electroneum (ETN) was touted in an advisory service as "gonna be great, get in while you still can". Its big attraction is that it's "for the mobile crowd.... carry your Electroneum around on your iphone and use it to buy stuff". 2 big flaws in that. 1st, you...
