    bingo. and that is why it will go into effect, first in europe, then in the u.s. eventually, of course, it will be repealed -- after domestic capital markets have been decimated, resulting in a net decline in tax revenues. but that will be 20-30 years from now.

    Generally, no. Right now, however, it's all about the dollar. So, yeah, I keep a close eye on eur/usd. having said that, my guess is that we'll have a buystop run to new highs within moments of the close ...
