    I remember him too, mainly from the 90's. Whenever the market would go into a tailspin he would just tell everyone to chill. He was like a reassuring father figure. And like you say he was a permabull.

    11:03a Fed buys $7.68 billion in Treasurys ADD USD up a bit on that news. Thus the pullback it seems. ADD Not that the USD jumped or anything. :)

    Seems to be tracking the indices a bit today. Not sure they're heading lower. Employment figures vary from week to week. Like you say, we'll see. ADD Missed the spike while I was posting. I guess they used the paddles on the patient's chest to try to jump start his heart. :)
