Bought the dv9720us, the cheaper one, this morning from Staples. I'll let you know how it goes. :) It's so cheap, $699 after a $50 rebate, I may keep it as a backup to run some monitors and eventually build a nice kick ass desktop or a higher end laptop. I'll keep my eye open for new HP coupons...

One other thing is Staples is very good with returns. No questions asked and no restocking fee. I'd have 14 days to check it out and see if a great deal comes up using hp coupons. Plus I'd have it now and wouldn't have to wait 2 weeks to get it built and shipped. I'll think about it overnight...
