    CL Redux

Just shorted at 100.78 and covered at 100.42 about a minute later = $360 Unfortunately just a sim trade. :) Too volatile for my real money. Good read though. :) I'm heading back to bed. Good trading to whoever's up on the East Coast, in Europe, or wherever. :) See you later. Employment...

    CL Redux

Just up for a few here in California = 3:30 AM. :) Here's the one minute spike just before midnight my time. Spiked about 2 points. Like you say not a good short initially, but turned into one. And in fact it spiked almost 4 points in 18 minutes. Volatility indeed.

    Working on Consistent Profitability

Not sure about the rest of you, feel free to comment, but one thing I'd want to clarify about my own comments is that I'm not saying go ahead and get stopped out time after time no matter what. Working on Consistent Profitability

I just was presenting the instrument change as a possibility as you would still be trading with real money, your own, but with less risk and less on the line. This would be better than SIM trading and would maybe help you get past your fears of losses. YM is only $5 a tick and moves much more...

    Working on Consistent Profitability

Hi :) I mentioned this in my PM to you as a possibility. If you're really worried so much about taking losses and are stuck on trading crude oil, maybe you could trade QM instead. Moves just the same pretty much. QM is the smaller contract. 1 point = $500 instead of CL's 1 point = $1000. QM...

They can be. Sorry about that. Been there. Hard to find the check up points, support levels, when any instrument has moved so far in one day. Trend was down as ND just pointed out. You'll be okay.
