That was quite a bounce out of that 100.51 low.

Actually it sold off 1.40 points in 11 minutes and then bounced back to 101 and now higher. Notice it checked up a few ticks below S1 and then rebounded. As I mentioned this morning, all of the breaking news, one way or the other, does make this hard to trade with longer term price targets...

    Birth of a trader

Thanks very much for the kind words. Always just trying to share the best resources I know of with whoever they may be helpful to. Sharing NoDoji's journal was directed at all of those reading this thread that may find it helpful. Just want to see all the good people working hard to be...

    Birth of a trader

Sorry to interrupt your thread, frank8800. Off topic here, but I was just looking at your own "birth of a trader" thread NoDoji, (NoDoji's Day Trading Log - which is no longer open). It's highly recommended to those learning how to trade. I was just asked in a PM by one of the CL Redux posters...

You're welcome, schizo. True confessions from me would be that I just looked this up for you and I had never heard of any of them either. :) We'll have to do some more research and see what we come up with. It's interesting though.

The multiple tops 102.30-102.40 in the last 3 hours should represent HOD's for at least 10 minutes (he said facetiously). But don't hold me to it. :D

With all of the events unfolding I'd be careful trying to do any longer time frame trades, especially short obviously. Who knows where this might head? BBL. Good trading to all of you and/or good lessons learned whether you're trading or just watching.

So much for "this may be priced in already". :D Did back off of R2 resistance a second ago. 37,156 contracts volume spike on the selloff 30 min candlestick.

    CL Redux

As I added to my post, this may be priced in and it has had a big run up already. To be honest I've done very little trading this morning. Not only CL but all of the other contracts I trade are all over the place. Up and down and all around. When I don't have a strong feeling for what's up...

Inventories down 400k. Sure is volatile isn't it? Not sure what's "priced in" in this environment with all of the Middle East uncertainties and the run up it's already had. Stay tuned.

You know Kid, a lot of people here post their trades after the fact including Picaso, NoDoji, and others. Not sure why you've decided to pick on me.
