Missed that bounce out of a retouch of the low. Really flew out of there didn't it? Having internet issues again. Booooo. ADD Guess my internet's okay now. Now that I missed that bounce. Oh, well. :) Onward and upward.

I like the idea of not overtrading. But again, it's not just a matter of holding things longer. You need to be on the right side of a longer trade to begin with. If you hold a losing position longer that obviously doesn't work. Or if you're just guessing market direction, and hoping it goes your...

Good Morning Just wanted to add a quick clarification to my remarks yesterday. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with swing trading this instrument or anything else for that matter. I did say, and do feel, that it has been harder to accurately pick the right direction for a swing trade...

These are 2 really great posts IV, coming from someone that knows what they're talking about. Thanks for helping to clarify my point. When I used "biases" I did mean that in the narrower sense of trading off of the underlying fundamentals. I wasn't using it in the sense of looking at...

I've mentioned this before, and sometimes it seems to be there. But then they both do their own thing apart from one another. I learned this a while ago as I was trying to trade CL that way and it didn't work. When I trade TF it does it's own thing too but not totally disconnected from the other...

You're welcome. Missed too many of these myself, although I did catch some. Imagining NoDoji did quite well today as it did trade strongly off of the pivots and other s/r levels. ADD One other thing I think is that "biases" can get you in trouble. I think it's okay to pay attention to various...

Several long-legged and neutral dojis for NQ in the last 3 hours. Market's going no where in a hurry. ADD Looks like CL is heading down to test S1 again. Maybe it breaks down this trip. ADD 2 Trying 103.95 short with a 103.33 target and a tight stop.

Glad you made some money at least. Just think how happy your broker is though. :) Maybe your stops are too close = getting stopped out too much. Or maybe your entries were at the top or bottom, as the case may be, of the previous bars.

Good move. Just stalled there. ADD Of course now it will go to 105. :D ADD2 The 104.21 quadruple bottom from earlier in the day has acted more as resistance now the last half hour of so.

Bertha Coombs on CNBC from NYMEX is saying the reason we see the over $10 price differential between Brent and CL is what we already knew, Brent is more influenced by the bombings, etc. in Libya, while CL is being more influenced by the supply increase in Oklahoma. I knew about these options, none of which seems to work well. That's why they're not doing much. Tough situation. Lucky we're just trading CL and not one of the poor Libyan citizens.
