I do not see it that way. No such thing as a free lunch. Want bigger government, then you have to be willing to pay up. Want to pay less taxes, well cut pork etc.. No free lunch.. Seems fair.

The problem is the Bush years and the republican congress spent so much it left a bad taste. They signed for Medicare D, let Paygo lapse and signed anything on the table. If republicans want to win they need to really be conservative, and also drop the bible thumping and get out of peoples...

Not this time. Expect to see lots of money being dumped into Govt Motors, probably even cost subsidies etc.. and Ford will penalized. GM should never have been bailed out period. The slack would have been taken up by Ford. What the hell is wrong with this country. What a joke.

So now Ford has to compete with Government motors. Instead of letting GM fail we might end up with 0 American auto companies with Government Motors ends up failing eventually and the Ford as well.

I suspect Americans figure banks are getting free bonuses and money and that they will end up paying for it so it makes defauling on creditcards no longer a moral issue.

Pot is very mild compared to alcohol. With alcohol you can drink yourself to death or to a point of unconsciousness etc.. Also alcohol is know to bring the ugly side of certain individuals leading to fights etc.. Cigarettes are very addictive due to the nicotine and ammonia freebase formulation.

Not surprising. I do see a jobless recovery in the US. With the cheap labor in india for white collar jobs, Cheap labor in China/Mexico for blue collar jobs. The unemployment should peak at 12% and hover around 9-10% during this jobless recovery.

You should stick to writing puts on something you are willing to own but at a lower price and would like to be compensated for waiting. Why not write puts on SPY instead? pick a point you feel comfortable taking a position in SPY and write puts on that.
