Insider trading is pretty common on wallstreet. If they actually begin a crackdown they would decimate Wallstreet. I suspect this will be a few busts but no way they want to open up pandoras box.

I broke out my dow 10,000 hat. The last time I broke it out was during a democrat as president. It seems that everyone wins, Goldbugs,fixed income and even equity folks.

That stock was 61 bucks in 2007 and paid a 25 cent Dividend. Talk about implosion. It seems like everyone decided that loading up on subprime mortgages was a great way to return value to shareholders.

So Friday GE results will be either the straw that breaks the camels back and we get a correction if numbers are bad or push the dow further along towards 10K

But the fear is Obama is going to tax the hell out of Americans to death and industry and introduce massive government control. Wont that be enough to scare the market, or is the market not believing this outcome?

Looks like the Market feels comfortable with Obama as president. 26% is pretty impressive since the year is not even over yet. I wonder why Wallstreet feels Obama is the right person as president.
