    Is FuturesBroker.com legitimate?

Yes, futuresbroker.com is a legitimate futures broker. It is run by and a twin of Velocity Futures. As long as the funds are being wired to "Clear Chicago Group" it is legitimate. They appear to have an express procedure to open an account: "We can have your account open 30 minutes...

About the arrogance of a well known US FCM...

Quite obviously "very well known" FCM makes too much money and doesn't need your business. Have you talked to Advantage Futures? They are a clearing firm that caters to high volume traders and they have some of the lowest rates available for volume.

    any emini prop firms?

They are looking for fools and suckers who will pay them lots of commissions in the short term before they go broke. Responsible brokers looking for a long term customer relationship (and future commissions) don't offer absurd low margins.

    Finding a compatitive future broker

Where are you looking that you cannot find brokers with rates less than $2.40 a side ($4.80 RT) and no platform fee? Even IB is less than $2.40 a side. IB's unbundled commissions start at $4.70 RT and drop at specified volume breaks. futuresbroker.com charges $3.80 RT with a choice of 4...

No Fantasy - ES Scalping Reality

This is absurd. Don Miller is a member of the IOM. If he was not actually an exchange member the CME legal department would have him prosecuted for the false claim. Don Miller had a profit of $1,635,103 for the year 2008. If he did not actually have the profit he claims he would be the...

    any emini prop firms?

At the current price of 1015 an ES contract is worth $50,750. $500 margin gives you more than 100 to 1 leverage. Isn't that more than enough leverage for you? For the average (losing) trader $500 margins are the fast way to empty out their account while paying plenty of commissions.

    Don Miller...

Returning to Don Miller (the actual subject of this thread) he had a free one hour webinar on Wednesday evening. Was I the only one here to watch it? I thought that Don did a very good job of presenting his material and had useful information for those traders that are scalpers.

IB trading platform is frozen again this morning

IB's futures commissions are too high. Here is some cost perspective. IB's unbundled commissions start at $4.70 RT and drop at specified volume breaks. futuresbroker.com charges $3.80 RT with a choice of 4 free platforms (NinjaTrader, Strategy Runner, QST, or CQG Trader). Transact...
