    moving price w/unintended orders

Maybe someone should inform the "market expert" that the CFTC regulates the futures markets, not the SEC. Who cares if someone flashes 2000 or 4000 contracts? You just ignore it. Zero evidence that the flashes moved the price. If you just look at T&S or a chart you don't even see the DOM...

    Indicators that preceed ES

Unless you are a very knowledgeable trader there is zero reason for you to be currently trading the DEC10 ES contract. The other side of your trade was most likely a bot that uses the SEP10 ES book to trade the DEC10 ES contract. I answered your main question in your other thread...

    Dow < 1000?

According to this site http://www.tradersnarrative.com/is-the-massive-corporate-cash-stash-bullish-or-bearish-4304.html US non-financial companies have cash and liquid assets totalling $1.84 billion and that is only 25% of interest paying debt. In a weak economy it sounds like too much leverage.

    Dow < 1000?

You might want to comsider that the Nikkei has not yet ended its multi-decade bear market. The Nikkei could go down to the 4000 or 2000 levels of the 1970's.

Can your broker Fxxk u in stop loss order?

How did you manage to come up with that utter nonsense? Name all the futures brokers that execute ES futures orders internally. Name all the futures brokers that maintain an inventory of ES. Name all the futures brokers that deal in ES futures "at its leisure".

    Carry Over/ hidden charges

If you use the IB flat rate futures commission schedule there are no overnight carry fees. The IB unbundled futures commission schedule charges ten cents a contract for holding overnight. You are not lending any money by being short a futures contract. There is no borrowing or lending of...

    Exercising a Put

Normally you sell the put, not exercise it. As BP made a new 52 week low today I would hope you are making money on the put and not just at breakeven.

    IB Increased Margins

I see no TWS bulletin, have no messages in the message center and no email about any futures margin changes. Maybe IB will let me know next week.

    IB Increased Margins

Where is IB saying this? All I see different about futures on the IB website is: "Due to market conditions and until further notice, Intra-day margin benefit rules for currency futures have temporarily been suspended."

Minimum Balance to Maintain in IB?

Ever consider doing some research before posting nonsense? "Margin Requirements The Federal Reserve Board, FINRA, and securities exchanges, including the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), regulate margin trading. Most brokerage firms also establish their own more stringent margin...

    Lightspeed acquires Terra Nova

Take a closer look at the Lightspeed commission schedule. Just like IB, Lightspeed has bundled and unbundled for equities. If you use the Web Trader platform ("Market Center Fees do not apply to Lightspeed Web Trader.") it is a flat $.00395 per share (plus SEC fee on sales) which is cheaper than...

Open E-Cry and Velocity Affected by Fictious Trades

What is your problem? Are you an apologist for the CFTC and/or the futures industry? I answered your question. Just because there are no recent losses of segregated funds does not mean that such losses cannot happen tomorrow or at some other point in the future. Segregated funds is a...
