Depends on what you call "risk". If risk is having a DD equal or more than average yearly profit, then not at all, many traders (especially successful daytraders) have drawdowns way smaller than their yearly average. From the other side if risk is knowing that ANY trade you take can result...

Important day today, because of ECB rates announcement @ 12:45GMT... Guess this can cause some chop during European session though and a lot of volatility after. The only strange thing about it all is yesterday's rally. Looking like either leak or a fakeout before a massive selloff...
