cvds, It's hard to say what exactly to look for, cause it's usual stuff and not just something one. Divergences, extreme reading, hooks etc... Actually main benefit of an indicator in my view is that it smoothes and shows PA in slightly different view thus providing additional clues, what...

Today is a great example of why finer charts are better (1min)... 5min is total crap, but when I took a look @ 1min with CCI I have found a lot of setups which would make quite a nice amount of PIB... Definetely need to learn to trade 1min with indicator on it...

Will, I took a look at today's HSI and it's really pretty tough cause of swings not expressed enough and a lot of retests... So no surprise at all that such day is not profitable...

Don't beat yourself. Losses DO HAPPEN and they are even NORMAL, because there is always the chance that some new force influences the market even if your initial read was right... That's why we have stops, right? :)

That's how human evolution goes: we grow by climbing new and new "mountains"...

Hmm... Actually all of my reversals were at worst not losers today (didn't post as ET didn't work for a few hours)... Prolly some adaptation to rangebound and relatively tight range market is needed for you cvds...

Should've reversed @ 70... Have to say that 3 min seems to be the golden middle for me currently... It's quite readable (I have a lot of experience with it caused traded SIFs off this TF) and faster than 5min...

Squared for a negligible profit cause CCI is looking suspicious...

Re-entered short again on half size @ 69...
