Its cycle day 3 on the short term delta.. "Normally" get time pressure around 10.45am EST for a move back against the mornings direction into lunch time. Then a continuation of the mornings direction after lunch.. Points could get "thrown" late & early due to the force of the moves...

Could very well be ed :) As for targets if it is a wave 3 then the 161.8% of wave 1 measured from the w2 high is always a good first eyeball target which is around 922 . ( as shon on that last chart of mine http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2106337

Personnally I'd like the time pressure to be just a little bit later around the last week of Oct.. We get a 34,55,89 fib trilogy which is always worth keeping an eye on.. Price wise we get a 1:1 and a 61.8% around that 1070 area.. If that area holds we could see a 4-6 month rally for a (B)...

On the Monthly SPX I still like the triangle wave (iv) option as its uses up time going into 2013. People have seen me scribble this triangle count on the weekly but here it is on the monthly to put it in context.. :)

Interesting option on the INDU going back to the 1932 low.. Bears will see a Super Cycle Degree wave (iv) in the making... Wave four's like to find support at the previous degree wave four's so 7000 is on that cards if thats the case.. See what you think on a Monthly INDU :)

Would of liked a spike upto that 1:1 level for a clear cut C wave for a sell back down for a new low instead the 78.6% stoped the move. At the moment it still is full of 3's This is the most consertive of the options... 1102-1 is the next 1:1 target point.. 240min ES

Hi QV I see where you coming from.. with a wave iv.. I use the old school rule of thumb ,when a correction overbalances ( exceeds in price) a previous correction then we've changed degree. so in this case we've overbalanced the last ALT at 1145.5 so I have to step up a degree which rules out...

Thanks Mu! :) Cleared that 1145.5 so 1179 will do for an easy eyeball target for now...

Just 1.75 off Mups 1113.5 target to complete a possable (B) wave... :) off up into the (C) now which gives 1179 as a simple 1:1 target.. Needs to get above 1145.5 to confirm the count... 240 Globex

The adventrous bulls could very well see a completed pattern going into the 78.6% on the SPX.. Personally I'd like to see 1113 hit on the ES but I could be counting to slow

could Still have a chance at the 1141.5 area for a wave 4 before the last move down for the 5th. :) 1136 is the 23.6% so that also might have to be considered... 120min Globex

Its from Gann orignally ed, Bolton, Frost & Collins all use this in relation to wave degree. Even Prechter has to make a note of it.. If you got the 20th Anniversary edition of EWP check out page 127 at the bottom.. " Far more precise and reliable...are the relationships between...
