    Ewj: elliott wave

The 1:1 as ed points out would be a nice first eyeball with the 61.8% just above... http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2291408 The best (sharp) moves come when a "e" wave finishes on an 88.6% ratio retracement of wave "d" and thats up around 928 & that would be the...

    Goldman Sachs EW analysis

Quote from your chart...... "wave 2 was a symmetrical triangle" You may need to double check EW rules.........:)

Hi blnbr :) Most EW'ers have that Move into that November Low as a lesser wave 5 of (iii).... I have difficulty with that option , due to the wave structure looking more of a 3 wave pattern going into the low...? I keep seeing forced counts that "allow" some overlap of wave 4 in to wave...

Still like to see that e wave option .... (from last weeks idealised pattern but gives the general idea) http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2276204

NBC has an Erin Burnett problem

Seems its been a difficult month or so for "Maria 2.0" since that "Eight Things That Would Impress Me" feature. http://www.nypost.com/seven/01102008/gossip/pagesix/cnbc_unimpressed_with_erin_998217.htm

NBC has an Erin Burnett problem

To quote the lead... Thats got a lot of tracking around the newsrooms today.... :) "This Sunday's Meet The Press made something absolutely clear: Journalists who are "embedded" on Wall Street and depend on Wall Street execs for access on a day-to-day basis are ridiculously unqualified to give...

Both the ES and Globex both jump to the same beat which is time.. They have different wave stuctures inorder to deal with the passage of time. As the old saying goes..... Fibs lead, the waves just follow

    Ewj: elliott wave

Not at all, when you get different wave stuctures converging its a stronger techinical pressure point the market has to deal with.... That Globex ALT on the 60min all session...

    Ewj: elliott wave

Tired to post this before but ET was having a hissy fit :D Anyway just an example of those traffic lights again... if it finds support around its 61.8% @ 813/814 area (ES) then its more likely to be a lesser b wave pull back from the alt.. 5min ES

Hi blnbr , The most useful aspect of Neely for someone like me who has a classical count style is the ratio work he did. Speaking of which :) ) Here's a chart with some of the usual ratio suspects as Mike's already pointed out with the 61.8% ext and 1:1. 240min Globex...

    Ewj: elliott wave

Yes Good stuff blnbr :) Well time to step up a degree for the next 1:1 @ 813 area on the Globex & the 61.8 @ 827.5 Seems the Delta point has come in on the 28th ... 120min

Couldn't overbalance its ALT on the day sesson, they just saw a Flat and sold it to test how strong this Globex low is.... ALTS on the day and ALTs on the Globex 24h are different beast due to each playing out thier own wave sets... :)

    Ewj: elliott wave

Those pesky Alts again :D As long as it holds that -44.5 it has a chance a going higher.... While its holding the Alt I'm tempted lable the move a simple w-x-y as most will see 5 waves... If however it busts its ALT, then a swift move to 800 as blnbr points out will be on the cards...
