Hopefully people can see how the Alts are used like traffic lights to traders... Alts are actually based on Gann's price swing overbalance rule, but A.G Frost picked up on there usefulness in helping with wave degree... :)

Because the we went through the 1:1 target, I'd only start to Buy if it overbalances its last Alt back up of +7. The 1:1's should hold to tick, & because we went 2 points lower, its flaging weakness. To off set the hinted weakness, it needs to overbalance its last Alt to show the trend has...

Update on yesterdays a-b-c chart... That 1339.75 is the c=a 1:1 so the bulls really need to hold that level.. 15min ES :)

Its sloppy on the ES but there is a hint of supply at the 88.6% which could mean a B wave.....Depends on what the Bots want to do... 15min ES

Looking at the background price and Vol picture can give clues on Dynamic price points and if there is anything like defender bars just underneath... Note the 3 supply points ( ie selling red arrows) & the defender price bar @ 1350-1345.5

Back to that MOB ALT -10.75... On the ES Usual stuff.. if it holds trend is still intact & expect a new high... , if it breaks we step up a degree and look to the next dynamic support ie the 38.2%.. That 10.75 Alt will probably get the "rule of 10" players debating ..:D 5min ES...

Those pesky time cyles pop up at the most unusual places :D 5 years ( fib) is a classic EW pressure point & Gann cycle point (60 months)... I'd be surprised if the longer term cycle based systems didn't try a short....:)

Bulls need to hold the above last Alt of -10.75 to keep their intraday 4th wave alive.... :) If however, and its a big if.. the Alt goes then the move up today becomes an a-b-c as Mu points out & the last 15 mins could be fun going into the close... :)

Thanks ammo !:cool: Spot on Mike :) It Equnox today and the Armstong pie cycle coming in over the weekend. These will certainly catch the eye of the cycle traders. These lesser long and short leg time pressure points don't seem to have the same impact as the full 8.6 pressure point...
