    Determining Scalability: Seeking Guidance

for longer term trading (not intraday) use: Position Size in Dollars= (1-3% of your capital)*(C / 3*atr(10)) you can use a longer timeframe for volatility, or use StDev instead of ATR. You just add a factor below to the system to limit the size in stocks or futures that aren't...

    Question for Canadians

It hasn't gone through yet. But you would think the process would involve creating special subaccounts that allow you to put in up to $5k annually and then trade it anyway you like.

Daniel Loeb: More vocal short sellers could have helped BSC avoid illiquidity

The vast majority of the book is about the accounting at Allied Capital, but there are alot of nice short stories about their positions since they started the fund. I sat down at the bookstore and browsed it in less than an hour.

CD's are maturing. Looking for steady managed accounts...

CD's are maturing. Looking for steady managed accounts...

Toby Crabel? Uncorrelated- Think its $500k + though. Barron's is good for fund info but buyer beware- I think their numbers are month to month drawdowns not peak to through- they mask alot of volatility. Might want to read the Black Swan in passing- because you might get teased by...

    Hedge Fund PERFORMANCE

Barron's has some info on Caxton I think. Single digit returns, low volatility... not like it used to be. You won't find anything on Citadel, SAC, etc... unless you read Trader Monthly - they estimate a traders take home based on some numbers they scrounged up at the end of every year.

Simons, Mandel Post Biggest Drop in Hedge Fund Slump

Question to anyone in the know - How can the medallion fund have a performance fee when it is primarily owned by Simons and his employees? It doesn't seem logical. My assumption is that there is no longer a performance fee attached to the fund, while there was when it was open to investors.

I use a HP 9650 (2 yr old model, look for a large print model ) for drafting 11 X 17 drawings. Works well. Decent on ink, could be a bit faster, but thats the way it goes when you go with 11 X 17.
