IB and Amibroker = nightmare's IMO.... tried it with no luck.... even when you have it working, it seems flawed. I'm looking for something better... But I love amibroker as is, don't get me wrong.

Who has a "live simulator" that is available for retail traders? Last I checked (in 2005) Wealthlab didn't handle portfolio level backtesting... which is very important unless you only trade one instrument ....

the old fashioned way is through 13Fs at SEC.GOV - view company filings - its more for hedge fund holdings. or look in yahoo finance - view holdings. It tells you how much are ownded by certain firms, but it can be off by a QTR or more.
