    Technical Analysis = CRAP

You're still missing the point. There is definitely an inherent weakness with technical indicators. One you mentioned and the other being that they are derived from price so it's kind of like the tail wagging the dog. However, if you use a certain tool over an extended period of time you tend...

    Technical Analysis = CRAP

Technical analysis is science. Trading requires science and art. The art comes from the trader interpreting the science. Technical Analysis is not crap. If results are poor it's most likely due to a crappy trader.

    Poll: Sell in May 2011?

The value of the USD has little to do with it. It's the Corporations ability to finance their projects at historically low rates that's creating some of the growth. The are many variables at work here and low interest rates is just one of them. Until the market gives a signal to the...

    Poll: Sell in May 2011?

Not this May. As long as interest rates are zero the market will move higher and higher. You have to wonder if the bull market is a factor of inflation or organic growth.

Fed Confidence in Transitory Inflation Hinges on Low Wage Gains

Bernanke is no dummy. He knows precisely what he is doing. When he first took the position of the Chairman I believe he was genuinely concerned about the American Public. Now, having been in that position for a number of years, his main concern is to orchestrate the transfer of wealth from...

Bernanke put the oil speculation nonsense to rest today

This is complete bullshit. Oil is rising because the dollar is falling. The dollar is the reserve currency so when it falls significantly commodities will rise. There is a very strong correlation between the dollar and the price of Oil. Bernanke is blowing hot air up the public's asses...

Fed Confidence in Transitory Inflation Hinges on Low Wage Gains

<i>Two of the defining geoeconomic trends of the past two years have been surging oil prices and a falling U.S. dollar. Of late, these trends show an increasingly tight correlation—with the falling dollar mirroring the rising price of oil.</i>...

Fed Confidence in Transitory Inflation Hinges on Low Wage Gains

Took the words right out of my mouth. That post was completely foolish.

Fed Confidence in Transitory Inflation Hinges on Low Wage Gains

The problem is quite simple. There is a massive transfer of wealth from the middle class to the banking system orchestrated by the Federal Reserve Banking System. The Fed is stealing from the middle class, and even the upper class, in broad daylight and there isn't a darn thing anyone can do...

    Odds of getting filled

2008 isn't a good year to backtest a strategy due to the financial crisis being at its highest point. Volume and emotions were very high so getting filled on your lot size was highly probable. The markets move a lot slower now, which may work to your advantage because if you get a partial or...

geithner says strong dollar is "ALWAYS" in US interests!!!!!

So true. The average American is oblivious. All they see is rising gas and food prices and bitch about that. They haven't a clue what is causing this rise and Obama goes on TV and says there is no one solution to bring the price of oil down. There sure as shit is. Put the breaks on the...

Nails is bailed out by a warlock

Agree. Some people are just natural born winners but those who aren't can be taught to win. Winning can be developed.

200,000 Americans killed each year by Prescription medicines/drugs

Even at the recommended dose acetaminophen is very taxing on the liver. Avoid it all costs. A better alternative is ibuprofen, which isn't quite as harsh but it can cause stomach problems. Take it with food and you should be ok but there are some people who still can't tolerate it.

End of QE2, haha yea right QE3 is coming!

The markets have become addicted to crack. When the crack is removed the withdrawal is going to be painful.

What are the most popular high volume stocks for day trading?

Add OIH and AAPL to this list. The fills on OIH can be a tad slow at times but the intra-day range generally provides enough movement to collect profits.

German Goverment Advisor:Greece will not succeed without debt restructuring

LOL. Unfortunately for Greece they can't print the Euro at will like the US can print the dollar so that option is not available.

Need help on legal issues. Can I charge people for my stock picks???

If you are hypothetically trading commodities or futures you are required by law to post CFTC Rule 4.41. If not, let's move along. If you are trading stocks and your results are hypothetical there is no requirement, to the best of my knowledge, that you post any type of disclaimer that your...

an essay on who owns the fed

This, perhaps with the exception of "international," I would agree with. The Federal Reserve banks control the Government rather than the Government controling the Fed. The fact that the Chairman can testify in front of Congress and refuse to tell Congress where the country's money is going is...

    Silver - WTF a $1 Jump in 10 seconds???

Silver has gone parabolic on increasing volume. That's a pure indication the crowd in joining in, which means a correction is right around the corner. I wouldn't short this beast right here but I'm watching my long very carefully.

Geithner Newsflash:It is impossible to lose AAA rating, increase debt ceiling now.

I hear you brother. I'd be quite interested to know what percentage of the recent rise in corporate profits is due to cost cutting, inflation, and organic growth. I suspect organic growth would come in last. If you take away all the stimulus you mentioned below we're still hovering around...
