Michael Steinhardt Says Bull Market Coming To End - Worried About Big Correction

Of couse it did... what do you think fuels a rally? Market moves from one set of stops to the next. When market is overbought there is more sell stops below the market vs buy stops above the market and vice versa for oversold. Just basic market mechanics.

To what extent do you use indicators?

I understand his point but it is not valid in this scenario. Every flip is independent, 70% chance of getting heads everytime its flipped. How could it ever be a 50/50 chance of getting tails?

To what extent do you use indicators?

Reread my post. I said you have a 70% chance of getting heads over tails everytime the coin is flipped. Think of it as a weighted coin or something. Its a bad example but you should be able to get at what I am saying.

To what extent do you use indicators?

Hypothetically, say you have an edge of 70% that when you flip a coin it will be heads. If you flip the coin 7 times and they are all tails. What are the odds that the next flip will be a heads vs being a tails..... The more tails you get the higher the odds the next one will be a heads.

    Walking Away from the Computer

If your going to run it automated on TS I would recommend being there every minute of the day. I cant tell you how many thousands have been loss from TS messing up an order and not closing out etc while I have been away. However, most of these systems were taking over 5 trades a day. I...

To what extent do you use indicators?

Print this post out, hang it on your wall and read it every morning until you really believe it. I couldnt have put it any better myself. Brilliant Jachryra. With 70% winners, that means 30% losers. Thats quite a lot when you think about it. Most people try a new system, works for awhile...

Thanks for the comment RusselDayTrade, definately was a decent trade, usually dont like to take that much heat though.. It was just a matter of them washing out the weak longs and it got a bit overextended in the morning. The russel is a beast, but when you get it down the rewards are...

Here are the support zones for the es below the market today. I especially like the the second one at 1452.50-1453.50. 1455.50-1457 is fairly strong though and will probably retest the highs if it gets down there.

What a character. He was 8-13 points off and hes saying he called the bottom. I was talking about 1433 for a while for a buying oppurtunity, missed it by 2 points. He is doing one thing right.... the 50 ema is one of my stronger cfs.

The reason I use IF statements is because I trade with odds and probabilities. If you were a real trader you would know that the market can do whatever it wants and there is no guarantees. If I said the market was going to do something and it didnt, it would mess with my psychology and I would...
