It depends if I am going to trail it or not. But as an average target for an intraday trade on the er2 is around 6-8 points. On a swing trade around 30 points. It all depends on the market structure for the trade. The stop on intraday is 1-1.5 points and a swing trade 2-3 pts.

I have made many calls and trades on this board and other threads that are plain and simple... unbelievable. Yes, I do have a long journey of consistent success ahead of me.

Yes I am very on top of my trades and how they work out. I have several setups on many timeframes that I trade so the answer to the question really depends on the setup. On my main setup my stats show that I reach my initial target 80% plus. The second target in the lines of 65% and the third...

I cant believe it... but this is the first time I have ever agreed with porgie. Scaling out is one of the most important things that I have learned in trading.. hands down. Nothing is worse then having a huge winner and losing it all the next time you look at your screen. It crushes me...

Is IB still relatively fast when you are connecting from Western Canada? I heard that it takes snapshots of data and the data is a bit delayed...

    Tired of lack of confidence

Dont beat yourself up too much... The russel has been nothing but ridiciolous the past 3 weeks. I had my worse drawdown today in over a year( a lot bigger then $600). I usually achieve 80% or better on my trades and I had 8 losers and 2 winners. It is just a really tough market right now...

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

ES is down straight 9 points and testing this 1450 zone... if broken will result into a move down to 1433... If not you can ride up the squeeze. Am I missing something here?

I definately agree and this is how I mainly trade on a smaller time frame. However, I still believe the trend is your friend until its about to end. If you have techniques enabling you to know when the odds of the trend ending vs continuing you can use that to your advantage.. ie tighten up...

Careful... this time its different. Next stop 1442.50-1443 if 1450 is broken If s&p holds here a lot of buyers will come in and drive this market high again

Well I have been talking about this for over a month now. It is definately showing its power. The minimum has been hit.. if we get a break to the downisde today it could get very ugly. I unfortunately have missed most of the move due to me being cautious and waiting for 834. A primary...

no.... they grind and claw knocking every short out. What do you think has been happening the past month? When the shorts finally throw in the towel and all retail is long... all there is stops below the market and a bunch of people trained to buy every dip because it has worked for the past...

Youll see.... Just because the market gets bought up in the afternoon doesnt mean anything. We are in a bull market, its supposed to. Bull markets dont just roll over in a day, it takes time. They sucker people like you in and then will take out any money you have made buying the pullbacks in...

This is the first time I have been aggressively bearish. 834-836 on er2 is an absolute BRICK WALL. Be careful on the long side until ES has broken above 1471 and er2 above 836. Call me stupid... Just watch the charts over the next few days.

This trade is still active.... Just a note on another resistance coming in 831.50-832.50.... We are so close..... the only nuance is that we have reached the minimum expectation for the completion of the move. It could easily open up today and absolutely get hammered. The probability...
