    Deep ITM calls

Don! Yes, the same argument can be made for the OTM CC vs. the ITM NP. Cereal, it's not likely that you're going to get those prices. Who's going to sell you the March for below intrinsic value. Probably have to pay the high end to get in. Add .10-.20 to those prices. And on the...

If options expire on ex-div date?

OP is trading 100s. Hence, not likely.

If options expire on ex-div date?

I never said that it wasn't a bona fide strategy. "Not likely" refers to the probability that OP might get some. You act as though, somehow, you are contradicting what I wrote. Is "a pure operational SNAFU" a fancy way of saying that they didn't exercise their calls?

If options expire on ex-div date?

I don't know, but it kinda sounds like they missed the deadline exercising their own long calls.

    "Rolling" straddle

Clearly, you aren't the only one naive here. Consider the synthetic straddle vs. the straddle. Trading the UL, when possible. Selling premium instead of rolling longs. You may find that it is a more efficient way of what you are trying to accomplish. Focus on risk, rather than form...

If options expire on ex-div date?

It would be easy to analyze, had you included the strike. If the call is OTM, then you can assume that it won't be exercised. If the call is ITM with little or no tv by late trading Thursday, then assume that it will be exercised. If the call is near ATM or ITM with tv, then it's likely...

If options expire on ex-div date?

Not likely. The MM probably gets a few, though.

    The Most Hilarious MMA Fights

    I think I saw this on ET a while ago, because generally, I don't watch MMA. The old master's style is called bullshido, I believe. Here's the classic: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/gEDaCIDvj6I" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    How do you overcome emotions?

To paraphrase a trader from CL Redux, "after 10,000 trades, you're pretty much numb to anything." Of course, there are still those moments of excitement and of agony. And there's always a good deal of frustration as the market does its thing. WTH am I talking about? Seriously, over...

I've been trading 12 years and I couldn't agree more. While beginning, there were little gems from MBs that were helpful, but after awhile, there's nothing new. And I can hardly put forth the brain power to understand what everyone is talking about, anyways. I barely have the strength to...
