Ron Paul says healthcare not a right

It can be better than the Canadian system only if you have the money to pay for it. I have never been a patient in the American system (thank god, I like my house). I'm not arguing that the QUALITY of care in the USA is top notch, because I think it is. My problem with it is due to enormous...

Ron Paul says healthcare not a right

I don't mean to belittle your sickness but of course you are being told to keep checking it every year. Even if it is nothing, DR's want you to keep coming back a) to limit their liability and b) to keep collecting from you. Even if there is a 98% chance that it is nothing, they will have you...

Beating the Odds - Kylash's Trade Journal

Glad to see you have found the strategy that allows you to print money. Nobody has ever got into trouble by averaging down. Why haven't I thought of that?

Now that's a number we could live with. Any less than 1.1 stings in Ontario. Except for cross border shopping raids of course.

Berkshire Profit on Goldman Sachs Passes $2 Billion

My bad on the misspell. Ironic for sure. I'm not saying Buffet is a genius soley because of this investment. I meant in general, the man is a genius. You don't make as much money as he has by not being one.

Berkshire Profit on Goldman Sachs Passes $2 Billion

Who else has the capital to make such an investment?! A public offering surely would not have raised nearly the amount required... [B] The deal was publicly announced and all details were released. Nobody tried to hide anything in this deal...Of course I don't expect you to buy into...

Berkshire Profit on Goldman Sachs Passes $2 Billion

You don't know nobody else had the chance to grab the investment...For all you know, others passed due to the risk involved. That being said, it was indeed a sweet deal. You claim corruption, but the way I see it, it was just a smart man making a smart investment at a time when others...

Berkshire Profit on Goldman Sachs Passes $2 Billion

If's and but's are irrelevant. The fact of the matter is it didn't get wiped out, and Buffet stands to make alot of money because of it.

Obviously. You don't become the world's richest man without having a connection or two. But the man is a genious nonetheless. Who else had the balls to make that kind of investment in an American bank at that point in time? He is infinitely confident in his abilities and it shows.
