I think there are no absolutes regarding stops, some trading styles lend themselves to hard stops, others need more flexible, creative stops.

Thanks Vorpal, Also if you take the historical monthly avergaes of both sides why are they not statistically identical? For example, the YOY 2005-06 of the JPY/USD from january to january using monthly averages is 12%, with the same time period of USD/JPY being -10%--shouldn`t they...

Why is one side of a currency pair used more commonly than the other? For instance the JPY/USD is more commonly used instead of the USD/JPY---why is that the case? However, when it comes to the EURO/USD this is the more preferred way the pair is referenced, as oppossed to the other option...

There will be plenty of short covering bounces to be sure. However, oil will be the next bubble to burst, going back to atleast 50 a barrel in the next 2 years, then commodities will start coming back in, definately by the end of the olympics in Bejing. I expect much slower international...

if you have 10,000, this will allow you to buy 2 contracts right, for non-members the margin is 4,000 right? If you shorted 2 at 84 and covered at 80 how much profit would you make on that trade? Besides the monthly nymex fee, how is the contract structured, can you give me an apples to apples...
