Well, do any of your watches play music? :)

I had a pair of Aura's given to me, but they didn't work. The Avantones are great, though. Mike Senior thinks they improved upon the Aura's. If your mix sounds good in one of them or an Auratone in mono, it will sound good in any system.

Fenders: Roadhouse strat, tele, both American made. Ibanez: Nylon string (China), solid body artist and semi-hollow body artist (Japan), SR505 bass (Korea), Gibson SG 65 re-issue (America). Custom 22 PRS (America). I haven't purchased any new guitars in over 15 years. I'm looking at...

LOL!!!! YES! An absolute must for mixing....just don't watch TV or listen to your favorite CD's thru them! (though technically, the Avantones replaced the true horrortones, the Auratones)

The monitors are the Alesis monitor-2's I spoke of. The mix cubes aren't shown, but are currently on top of the Alesis's, with appropriate sound cushioning between. I built the speaker stands and added wheels for easy mobility. I'll post an updated pick in the future as my new design takes...

Do you mean electronic dance music? If so, I would say not necessarily. But if you were to say all styles of music, maybe. I've performed on many instruments, produced, and mixed styles from hard rock, country rock, country, bluegrass, classical, traditional and "smooth" jazz. I have not...

I'm sure they could give you a multitude of answers to that, should you be able to ask them without losing your head.

Border Patrol and Law Enforcement Upset At Militias At Southern Border

Anyone who doesn't believe jihadists won't come across the southern border simply by sneaking across or paying narcos big bucks for a smuggle into the US is simply not in touch with reality. That is like saying "it can't happen here" the day after 911 occurred.

This is my setup (guitars not shown). This is now incorporated into pro tools (mac pro not pictured), and will most likely be phased out as I complete the remaining projects produced on these drives. They are now outdated.

Cool. I don't know how heavy you're going to get into it, but if you start doing some serious mixing, and even launch an independent label to release your stuff on (which is my goal for early next year), I'd like to recommend some of the best books in the business for home setups like ours...

Cool. I have a home project recording studio in which I did my own treatment using Ethan Winer's "The Audio Expert" and another book; "the Master Handbook of Acoustics, 5th edition" as my guides. Ethan actually competes with Auralex, but he's very generous with his knowledge. (I haven't...

    Cowards!

Thanks for clarifying. I actually agree with you regarding your min wage figure. Current rates make financial survival next to impossible. One of the things that troubles me is how high renting apartments (and houses) has become. That said, young, struggling individuals need to budget and...

Hillary, suffering from Battered wife syndrome?

You don't need to condescend, piezoe. I know what constant dollar is. I understand your point, but perhaps you missed mine. I lived in such a way that the money I had available to me at that time was utilized in such a way that I could survive on it in that time's economy. I'm well aware of...
