    Max's Place

Max: >that's how I led myself to believe he owned >the weapon in question. Your spinning again... You didn't say that you BELIEVED he owned a weapon. You clearly said that HE CLAIMED to own a "fairly large handgun". You could have said that you "believe" all you want -- but when you...

    >Now wait a minute; rs7 said "I KNOW I can get off >5 or 6 rounds from a 9mm before I could get off a >second shot with a 44.". There is emphasis on the >KNOW, as if he has, or had, such a gun. I KNOW the exact same thing, but I don't own a gun and have never owned either of those...

    Max's Place

Ok Max, it's easily official. All the lame excuses in the world can't cover the fact that you will lie through your teeth in this exchange -- and not only did you lie, but you came back weakly blaming 404 for "posturing". The posturing this round is ALL is yours Max. There is nothing in...

    Bay Area Real Estate Market

    >if you are prepared to spend that kind of >money, you clearly have options--- Wee, Yes, we do have options and the one we like the best is right here in the Bay Area for the next few years. We do have plans quite like the ones you described a bit later, but right now we can't increase...

    Bay Area Real Estate Market

I have come to the same conclusion. Unfortunately those other locations don't include a 10 minute commute to the very companies that enable the purchase (income). JB

Man, this market is stupid HOT!!!!! Today we bid 111k (yes, three ones) OVER asking price for a fixer upper dump (800k) on the border of Los Altos (CA) and we are told we missed the winning bid by a "significant margin". Geeeezzzzzzzz...what does it take? We're through. With it this...

    Kerry/McCain Vrs. Bush/Cheney???

Mav to RS >As far as the FDR comment, I thought you said you >liked him, why do you take it so negatively that I >called him your hero. Perhaps it's because you are telling him who is hero is without asking him who is hero ACTUALLY is. Just a way out there thought. JB

    Kerry/McCain Vrs. Bush/Cheney???

    >Anyone see McCain take on Baseball and Don >Fehr re: steroids????? Oh, TM it must be stopped. If the line isn't drawn here it could expand into a national security issue. I mean, we could end up giving drugs to soldiers and pilots just to up their performance in battle. JB

ART can't even recognize when his arguments ass has been kicked. Reminds me of the big study at Stanford (?) where it was clearly shown that incompetence and the ability to recognize incompetence are hopelessly intertwined. JB

    Identifying posts

Db, My workaround for the issue is to go to the search tab, type in some criteria that get's me to the post (usually the posters screen name) and then click on the post I wish to address. Then I can copy the link in it's entirety at the top and past it in. It's a pain, but it works. JB
