Assuming your chart is set to something other than ALL DATA, you always could scroll using left/right arrows and/or PAGEUP/PAGEDOWN on the X axis

Assuming you set the absolute scale, you can shift it using UP/DOWN arrows on the keyboard (might still be SHIFT UP/DOWN in the beta, but that will change)

none free right now. eSignal datafeed can be used for the backfill and IB will hopefully have 1 day backfill in the near future

QT currently supports two sources that have tick backfill data. All the others are 1 minute OHLC minimum. IQFeed - http://www.quotetracker.com/iqfeed (email support@quotetracker.com to get the tick backfill config) and eSignal - http://www.quotetracker.com/esignal

DisciplinedHedg, Ameritrade/Freetrade do not have TICK/TRIN. You can use Scottrade for free streaming quotes with QuoteTracker. register for free (You do not need to be a client. Just need a US address). Once registered, just select "SCOTTRADE STREAMING (FREE Registration)" as the index...

Just because something can be done, doesn't mean it should be done. We can add every conceivable control to QT. Thats simple to do. The problem is that doing so complicates things. Rember KISS?

The price takes up more vertical space than the indicator so it is visible if its behind the indicators. Unless of course you set the indicator thickness so it is overbearing, but then it would seem that the indicator is in fact more important to you. If you are setting the indicator...

reiehaxm, the indicators cannot be placed behind the price. If you do that, they are not visible. You don't really want a thickness of 4 on the indicators. thats way too much. As for the volume - go to OPTIONS/Edit Preferences menu, CHARTS tab, MISC sub tab and change the volume spike filter...

reiehaxm The bandwidth number is not a problem. I was checking on the number below the bandwidth, and what you indicated is not an issue either. If the quotes are up to date, then the issue is not connection related. Are you sure you have the chart refresh set low? go to OPTIONS/Edit...

IQFeed is the cheapest - you are missing the point about their pricing - if you just need backfill, you do NOT have to subscribe to the real-time futures. Thats only needed if you want real-time Level I quotes. http://www.quotetracker.com/iqfeed There should not be any delay - is the delay...

sharpshorts - I understand what you are saying. However, with either the existing Sliding or Absolute scale options, the increments on the Y axis should already stay constant unless you resize the chart. That is the only way the increments would change. If you have the increments change...

Doug, We have a Yahoo configuration available upon request (support@quotetracker.com). However thats delayed quotes. Just FYI Money.net can handle auto refresh of that many symbols (you would use the "for Proxies" option instead of streaming). and would be $12.95 per month + exchange fees.

thats supposed to happen. QT centers the range, around the center point of the visible data (plus adjustments to make sure the LAST fits in). Its not centered around the LAST

maybe I am misunderstanding something, but isn't what you are describing handled by the Sliding Scale option?

That would be EUREXUS:@FWR2 MAR 05 with 1 space before and after MAR

No idea - that would be dependent on the datafeed. Is this for IB? If so, what is the root symbol and EXCHANGE that is shown in TWS? Also, what is the exact symbol shown on the end of the DESCRIPTION column?

FYI - We released a new beta today that should have the sliding scale adjust automatically if you scroll the chart horizontally. Also smoothed out the rate of change on the Y scale when using a mouse. If you are already using QT, you can update if you: 1) select OPTIONS/Edit Preferences...

In released beta, the sliding window should work if you are watching the current prices, but does not adjust as you scroll the window to the left and the rightmost LAST moves out of the range. That will be fixed in next release.
