You would just burn a starter CD for Ghost. Use that to bootup and start, then stick in the DVD with the stored image and off you go.

Y, really :). I bought my computer in December of 2002. Same basic system, 1 Gig of memory. $2700. The pace of processor improvements as well as the need for faster processors seems to be on the decline. At this rate the computer will last me 5 years (a first)

Button - you mean connection indicator? That would mean that the connection was terminated. What QT version? What TWS version? Email us at support@quotetracker.com with that info. Something like that should be easier to identify

Sigh - we have had a few reports of this. Looked at logs - QT subscribes, then gets quotes, then quotes just die off. Need to get more detailed IB logs for this. Doing alerts for that type of stuff will not help since the connection is there. IB is just not sending updates.

with 30 minute bars, the first bar will be at 9:30 (covering 9:30 to 10:00). The last bar will be at 3:30 covering 3:30 to 4:00. That is the standard way to show the bars

email support@quotetracker.com and indicate the quote source you are using, the QT version and the time settings you have on OPTIONS/Data Sources/QUOTES screen. Also, do the quotes show past 3:30 in raw data, but not on charts, or do they stop at 3:30 everywhere?

BigCharts and Prophet are for Historical charting. You need the data on the intraday charts. Since you were not online, that means that you have to backfill the chart. Most backfill sources do not provide pre/post market data in the backfill. The ones that do are Ameritrade/Freetrade and eSignal.

sirpangolin we have Playback in QT but it is not released yet because the User Interface for it is still crude. It can replay whatever data is in QT. Right now QT max is 10 days.

Right now QT will do max 10 days. You can open DTN.IQ software and probably copy/paste the data out of their screen for the longer time period. We will have some changing in that respect in the future
