IB has 5 day backfill per request, not 1. Check with Tomasz if he has an update to allow more days of backfill

MAK, our streaming API is pretty easy to implement. If you can create an ActiveX control, etc, shouldn't be brain surgury to get something that can then be used in Excel. Let me know if you do, or if you have any questions on the API.

since your current broker is Scottrade (gasp), I am assuming you are doing equities. Since you cannot open an IB account, did you check with MB Trading? Not sure if they have an age restriction. they are similarly priced to IB for equities (.01/share for 1st 500, 0.005 above that)...
