You would have flexibility as far as datafeeds. Can use your broker, IQFeed, Prophet.net, eSignal, etc. Can switch between them or run 2 concurrently.
trader99, for IB you do not enter the login into QT. Has always been that way. Setup instructions at:

Go through those and you will be all set.
:). In this case, I don't know if they support it at all, and if they do, I do not know the symbol. If you find it, please post it - I think we get a regular stream of emails about that one.
would depend on the datafeed you use and the securities you track. If you are just tracking stocks, no problem regardless of datafeed. If you are tracking futures, then it will work if you have one of the datafeeds that supports historical data on futures, such as:
eSignal
IQFeed
Prophet
ProfitMania,
I would need to see a log of what happened. Are you able to recreate the issue? What QT version? Please send the replies to those questions to our support. Will deal with it from there.
Def, you mean to tell me you guys do not come out with all the features fully functional out of the box with the first release? My faith in you has been shaken :)
the underlying protocol is irrelevant since you don't have access to it. As for AON, there are a number of brokers supporting that, including Ameritrade, optionsXpress, I believe IB has it, adn others
Not sure what "hidden" means. The trade panel can be only selected to one broker at a time, so you have to switch to the other broker to enter orders for it.
If you are using our Trading API, it does not have that restriction
the way rollover is handled is dependent on the datafeed you are using. If for example you use eSignal as a datafeed in QuoteTracker , then you can use ES #F as the symbol for a continuous contract. For IQFeed datafeed, it would be @ES#
