yes, you are. You need to enter each symbol exactly as I have it there.

Did you enter the symbols exactly as I have them above letter for letter? Did you run QT getting data during the US market hours? (don't think those have backfill with IB) and make sure to turn off Spike Filter (OPTIONS/Edit Preferences menu, CHARTS tab, MISC sub-tab - set the setting to 100)

not exactly. QT will basically not perform ad blocking detection if ads are regularly clicked. You can never click on ads and not have any problems if you do not block the ads. Just go into the firewall settings and turn off ad blocking while running QT, or register QT.

negative volumes mean that there was a problem with the volume data being sent. Basically, means that the volume on a quote is lower than the volume on the previous quote. If you click on the V button on top of the raw data window, QT will switch to showing absolute volume values - you will...

ads - like I said - you definitely have something blocking them, so the message about the blocking is definitely legitimate. You did not reply regarding firewall, or hosts file or any other software that maybe doing ad blocking Timer on charts - right click, VIEW, Countdown

if often ad window is blank, then definitely the ad is being blocked. QT generally tries to detect that and get the ad from a different source, but that does not always work. You definitely have something blocking the ads.

BSAM, that just means that some ads get through. If an ad is blocked, QT does not just show a blank space. Check the stuff I pointed out. If that does not help, email support@quotetracker.com

BSAM - the ad blocking detection prompt is triggered if: 1) you are not registered 2) your ad click rate is very low 3) AND the ads are being blocked. It is extremely highly unlikely for a false positive there. Most common blocking is by firewall software like Norton, ZoneAlarm and...

    IB market data message

Are you using any software that connects to IB for quotes or trading? If so, any subscriptions for quotes that the software makes also counts toward the max # of symbols allowed for your account. So, if your max is 100 and the software subscribes to 100 symbols, you aren't going to be able to...

    Scottrade streaming data off?

RunTrade The issue is not with the free quotes available to brokerage clients. Those quotes work same as before. The issue is with free quotes that Scottrade was making available to NON-Clients. Those quotes are no longer going to be real-time.

    Scottrade streaming data off?

As of today, January 3, 2006, Scottrade free streaming is no longer real-time. Scottrade sent out the email to the people registered for free streaming quotes. This does not affect Scottrade brokerage accounts. As for opening a small account just to get quotes, there is no need. You have...

    IB data feed

DOM is a display method, not data. QuoteTracker has Level II/MarketDepth for futures, but it is displayed as the more traditional Level II display, commonly used for equities.

Are odd lot limit orders "invisible"?

My reply was in reference to NASDAQ Level II, not to anything QT specific. What jimrockford described is correct. NASDAQ L II is never going to show the individual odd lot. ECN Books will. ECN Books will also combine the lots to show on NBBO. Don't know if odd lots from different ECNs/MMs...

Are odd lot limit orders "invisible"?

For the order to show on Level II, the minimum order size is 100. Odd lot orders will be displayed in as round lots, but will execute against actual shares.

    QT and IB

eSig EOD would not work. Has to be an intraday subscription eSig and Prophet have continuous futures symbols. IQFeed is working on it.

    QT and IB

It can but you cannot use IB as the backfill source for the historical data because IB does not currently provide that data. You would have to use one of the subscription sources such as IQFeed, Prophet, eSignal as Hist. Backfill sources within QT

    Brokers without charts?

we do not currently support Oanda within QT. They have an API, but they charge their clients an arm and a leg to use it
