Jayford - the new QT version has dynamic historical charts which have full backfill support for sources like IQFeed, eSignal, etc. So you no longer need to go elsewhere to look it up. Also adding TPO Profile (Market Profile). Both Futures and Forex would not be a problem

No, that is incorrect. Options/Edit Prefs does not set timeframe at all. It is just used to configure timeframes, not select them. And selecting the timeframe on a chart sets it for that symbol, not just that chart - so if you have multiple charts on that symbol open, all will be affected.
