the Market will not like this--------

LOL, maybe. I was right about the drop back in Feb and didn't start going short until end of Dec so maybe I am 2 month early again.

the Market will not like this--------

Anyone think the timing of Tudor Jones closing the small cap fund for lack of opportunities and Prudential axing its equity coverage division are telling?

    Is China crashing?

Are any of you clucking hens invested in the Shanghai market? No? Ok then, stop your clucking, it is irrelevant.

    Is China crashing?

Exactly, Shanghai is now irrelevant outside of China for anyone who has been paying attention. The yen didn't even move and if you want to see what the perceived global risk is then look at what the yen is doing. When people perceive risk to be high they start to unwind the carry and that moves...

Pros that Blew out several times before success

Miacheal Jordan's of trading applied to stocktradr3, thanks for the laugh :D I think most view posters like him who's only postings seem to be some vauge "buy the dip" as a nuisance more than anything else. Sort of like the site graffiti artrist that has to tag every thread with their "buy the...

    Bye, bye YEN Carry Trades...?

I am long here @8210, thinking we are going to get a spike next week above 8300 then when the bonus money is available mid month it will pour in to EMs and the yen will give up on 8200 and make new lows for the year.

    Shanghai has to fall tonight

Not 3%, 0.3%. These guys are buying and holding, whats the big deal aboyt a measley 0.2% increase in transaction cost? People are probably more worried that there is more to come from the government than the tiny increase in stamp duty. I agree back to new highs end of the week or early next.

Stamp duty increase....Is this a big deal?

Non event, Shanghai will be up at least another 0.5% tonight.

    Chinese Market Implosion

The global market is a slippery fish, as long as the controlling powers have a hold of it it cooperates more or less, the bigger it gets the harder it is to keep a good grip on it (and some countries are more sophisticated than others in that regard). Eventually the layers of leverage and exotic...

    China and the United States

I dispute the premise of the rest of your post but as far as the part quoted above, it can't come soon enough. Keep in mind though that the people who conceived of and executed the strategy in Iraq probably all have IQs well over 130. My guess is that Hitler, Stalin, and Mao all had IQs of at...
