I keep trin on my screen but to tell the truth havent found much use for it on an intraday basis other than confirmation of a trend day situation when it hits extremes.

The simple fact is no one knows what this market or any other market is going to do. The experts track record's suck so why seek their opinions? You have to do your own thinking in this game.

With a little practice you would be suprised how fast it can be.

Dont know anything about the macro-economic picture but gold has another use. Whenever I get to feeling down I pull out my Doomsday stash and put my Kruggerands and Eagles and Maple Leaf's in nice neat stacks. Never fails to lift my spirits.

I wonder if this kind of setting really works. Couldnt you just bypass buttontrader or any other program if you really wanted to? It would be nice if some broker would put this feature in so it would shut down for the day if you reached some limit that you set. Doubt if it will ever happen tho.

I said something in an earlier post about Buttontrader being a little difficult but some recent posts made me look at it again and this time I took a few minutes to look at the tutorial, DUH!! This thing is really slick. I apologize for my comments.

Fascinating thread. I watch t&s throughout the day but have been focusing primarily on pace. I will definitely start to pay more attention to these other factors. Thank you.
