The problem has disappeared this morning so when IB did its nightly reset it corrected the problem. I dont see how that whole bunch down there could be unaware of this possiblility.

I suspect it is something like that. It makes me wonder about IB support.

I got qcharts the other day to try something Grob mentioned. This thing is scary. There were times today the quotes were off a full point. They definitely need some work.

Broke major support today

Really?Ive used IB for four years and this is a new on on me. I talked to IB support twice and they acted like it was a new one on them. Will it correct itself eventually? Im hoping when they reset the servers tonight it will go away. I can pull up TWS on a different computer or the browser...

I have Esignal. I use Sierra on a separate computer. Is that all right?

On tws my last price is stuck at 1129.5 for ES and 10475 for YM but NQ is working and the current bid and ask on all are working. This is affecting the feed to Sierra charts for these two contracts, too. edit: I tried rebooting

This is interesting. I set up quotetracker and it is doing the same thing so I am not getting ES and YM data from IB although the data is on the quote board so there is a problem with the api of some sort. Any ideas?

Ironic. I was touting Sierra a few minutes ago and now Im having problems. ES and YM charts are not doing anything. NQ is working fine. Restarting doesnt help.

The only advantage of QT over Sierra that I can see is its free. I am using Sierra as there was one lilltle thing about QT that irritated the heck out of me but I dont remember exactly what it was and they may have corrected it by now. Something about leaving gaps in the charts. I keep finding...

I do not trade unusual events. How could you know this selloff would continue? I have seen many spikes down lately and most of them have bounced right back. If you or anyone knew this would not bounce please explain how.

Is this book primarily about daytrading? I do not pay much attention to volume as I have never found it to be any help on the short time frames but I may be missing something.
