If i do a $tick chart and put the study on it they match.

Heres what Im getting.

Oops. I loaded tickextreme.efs on a 5 min chart of ESfor 2/13 and compared it to a separate 5min $Tick chart for 2/13and there is little resemblence. What is this study supposed to mark?

I wont argue with your main point but new traders with small accounts are rather limited in their choices. You need a decent bankroll to swingtrade for a living and a lot of people dont have it yet. Percentage wise you can turn your money over a lot faster daytrading.

Thanks for alerting me to the multiple symbol feature. I didnt even know it was there. Overlaying a line chart of ym 04 over an $indu candle chart seems to duplicate what I was looking for.

I agree. Use tws with a good front end.

Like anything else it takes practice and good physical fitness. It took me four years to get to the point where I could concentrate for 6+ hours. Drinking a lot of coffee or tea cause problems later in the day.
