As a followup I have been running qcharts for several days now with cme feed only and the data has been quite good. It seems to match IB tick for tick. Cbot minis are free for now so you can get all the minis, the euro, the full size sp, nq and few others with just this one exchange.

Hes definitely not the Phantom. Heavy set with a pony tail sure doesnt fit the image I had but Ive never seen the man. Its hard to imagine a heavy set man in a glider. I had him figured for a fitness freak but just guessing.

roberk Have you tried the single table tournaments yet? They are a great way to break in. In some of the lower buy-ins you can 90% of the time make to the final five just by playing reasonably tight which cuts the odds down to a managable figure and eliminates the rake as a major problem...

Well I lost money today. I went in thinking we were going down and as much as I know better I couldnt shake it. I shorted premarket and twice more on the way up. I knew I was f**cking up as I was doing it but kept on. Ever been there? Fortunately I got most of it back when a EUR short worked...

Am I the only one that thinks Street Smarts is a great book? Simple and right to the point. I would also reccomend all of Lindas articles on her site if you want to trade S&P. I learned more from them than any of the books I read. Have also learned a great deal here, strangely enough.

All the talking heads on the financial news pre market were saying we would sell off today. A sure sign not to short.

I have read hundreds of posts from all over the internet (I know, I need to get a life) by and about Jack. You have to be willing to do the work to put the pieces together. He says he does this deliberately. Whether this is true or not I dont know, but I have found what he says to be consistent...
