Have any of you guys made any money off the euro since yesterdays close? Ive made four trades and am breakeven minus commissions. Hard to trade imo. Lots of movement but pretty erratic.

Exactly. The odds may be the same but your mindset changes. Its the same with trading for me. If I have two or three losing trades in a row the best thing I can do is quit for the day. Theres always tommorrow.

I have been using Macro express to start tws automatically at 12:30 am but there are some occasional problems. I would like to examine other alternatives. Somebody awhile back mentioned another program for doing this. I did a search but am unable to locate it. Does anyone remember this thread...

TWS feed is ok so it must not be globex or cme. SPY and QQQ are ok on qcharts but es and eur are stopped. wierd.

Yes I meant the very low limit tables to learn on. Just under break even tells me that youre about evenly matched there and the rake is taking a bite. You have to learn to change your strategy as the table gets smaller and then hone your heads up skills.

You are right about Borsellinos book. I only made it through a couple of chapters. About Hellmuths book, I agree its not for experienced players but I think his beginners strategy is very good.

This is one downside to online poker but I wonder if theres a lot of it going on because you would have to be playing big games in order to split two or more ways and make any money and some of these guys are pretty sharp. I dont think it would take them long to spot something fishy going on.

Only problem is you dont want to tell the network administrator your trading during work.:) Back when I was working and had a position open I would carry my laptop with me and use my phone line to get around this problem.

Paradise used to be pretty good but they are losing market share fast mostly because of server problems, I think. You notice that Stars updates their software every couple of days seems like. Stars and Party seem to be where its at for now.

Yes I learned a lot in her room primarily by repetition. Some trading lessons need to be drummed in till they become automatic. I have no idea how she is doing now, but I will say that she made many, many good calls when I was there. I know that some of her setups dont work as well anymore but...
