I certainly wouldnt want to lead anyone astray. Ive been with IB for several years without any problems whatsoever. You only need a certain amount to trade with and if its going to be a disaster losing it one way or the other then you probalby shouldnt be trading.

What about the channel breakdown at 13:15(bar 46)? Did either of you take it and if so what was your exit please?

IB will only send money to your bank or home and will not change those destinations without contacting you first.

When I was in LBR's room she was pulling down $30, 000 a month from it. Seems like a pretty good motive to me. If you can trade and talk at the same time why not take the money if its there for the taking?

Absolutely. First, as I pmmed you awhile back change the sell side color to red and buy side to green like almost all other programs. Second, fix it so you can adjust both sides of a bracket order. Almost nobody uses a bracket order with identical offsets. Third. Add a button that would close...

If IB could make a few changes in Booktrader the other front ends would be in trouble, I think. A front end wont make you profitable but it can save you a lot of money if your mistake prone like me.

Buttontrader is actually quite simple to use. You can get as complicated as you like, tho. I am a recent convert and a big fan. Has worked flawlessly alongside Quotetracker.

My problem is I am an obsessive/compulsive and I have to have something to obsess about. Learning the market has kept me very occupied for several years now but I have the basics down. I have read all the books and been in all the rooms and now there is nothing new. Everything is repitition...

I kind of like the MarketVu show on Paltalk. Its a commercial site but they keep a running commentary on news, upgrades, etc. and the s&p pit sqwak box is always on in the background. Alerts to upcoming numbers also.

Certainly they can be of use in predicting the market. All you have to do is get them before anybody else does.
