any good chat rooms in Paltalk & Hotcomm?

I doubt the fault is the chat rooms. You must be totally at ease to trade well, imo, and you cannot achieve this zone following someone elses calls. There will always be some doubt in the background. I spent a long time in LBR's room and lost money the whole time I was watching them make it. In...

    Trader's Reminder

If you could tie it into an economic calender that would definitely be something interesting.

    more bad on brandonf

I thought the whole thing was interesting. I am reminded of when Don Bright first came on. He took a lot of flak at first but held his own and is now a respected member.

    Trader's Reminder

Heres a screenshot if that helps. You can add whatever you want of course. Ensign also has what they call a scheduler where you can set up the same thing.

Buttontrader has this built in to it. You just check the ones you want to be reminded of.

A Good Experiance w/ Brandon Fredrickson

To repeat what I said in the other thread I was in the room for a couple of months. I learned two setups that I still use and I would imagine those two setups have made many times what I paid for the room. I liked Toni better than Brandon tho.:D Of all the traders I know only one other one...

    Market Maker Tricks

Its easy to develope the feeling that the market is conspiring against you. New traders do everything wrong and constant losses induce paranoia. This is exactly the opposite frame of mind you need to make money so it is a vicious circle that is hard to break. Your stops getting taken out...

A Bad Experiance w/ Brandon Fredrickson

I spent a couple of months in your room way back when and will say it was a pleasant experience and Ive always held a high opinion of you and Toni since. Your a little rough around the edges sometimes but that is a plus imo as the real con men are pretty smooth. That being said the nature of...

    Do Trendlines work?

Gaps are just like anything else in the market. Extremely tricky. There are statistics all over the place but turning them into cash is no simple matter.

What is the ideal stop size for an ES contract on intraday trading

Check out Lefty on Do Trendlines work thread. He uses 1.5 pts pretty consistently and does pretty well. You also have to consider that it may be your entries that are your problem.

    Do Trendlines work?

Well that was fun but I did not expect that much of a move. Your working on a pretty nice day. Back to the open. Nice call.

    Do Trendlines work?

Appreciate your commentary Lefty. Would you mind giving your reasons for being long from the open.

    Do Trendlines work?

Lefty Curious why you did not consider a short/add at this point. The test failed but still seemed a good risk to me with a wash as the worst that could happen.

    Day-trading retirees? They're blowing bubbles

I pretty much agree with the article except for the random number. Personally I think the market is random closer to 90% of the time.

    Do Trendlines work?

The problem most people have with Jack is that they try to swallow him whole. They want the whole package now. They want to make 2 times the daily range starting out. He has stated repeatedly that you start with rockets. You trade only in a strongly trending market. You have to get that part...

    Good site that explains indicators?

Experience. No sarcasm intended.. edit: In an effort to be a little more helpful I will say that my favorite entry signal is a short term trendline break. You could make a case that a trendline is an indicator but that debate is on another thread.

    Good site that explains indicators?

You might want to check out the stochastics thread on this site. You can follow the progress of some people trying to use a couple of indicators and see how complicated it can get. Another interesting learning experience is to spend some time in Woodies room and try to learn the CCI. You will...
