Youre a mess Tampa. I think youre bent on self destruction. Youve been at it long enough to know that theres only one way to succeed at this and that is iron-willed discipline. This is not a variable. It is absolute. It is law. You need to find a less expensive hobby.

The costs of mining will continue to rise and there is a limited amount of precious metal. How can they not go up over the long run. I bought gold at $280 and $330. If it should make a serious pullback I would buy some more.

Macro has some pretty advanced setup procedures but I havent even tried to use them. I just use the capture feature which copies your mouse and key movements and repeats them at a scheduled time. Took me about ten minutes to set it up.

I wonder why your having problems with Macro express. I am using it and it works great. Very easy to set up. I have it shut off Sierra charts at 11:30. Tws shuts off at 11:59. Then TWS comes back on at 1:00am and Sierra comes back on at 1:05 and ties into TWS and resumes tracking.

Pruitt, who tests systems for a living, says in all these years hes never found one system based on idicators that worked. He is not talking about daytrading but to me the implications are a warning about relying on them too much.

When I bring up TWS on one computer my cursor starts acting up, stalling and not wanting to track. On my other computer there is no problem. Anybody got a clue? This is a new problem. It has been working fine up to now.

I didnt get very far with it either. It seems very counter-intuitive to me but I have no patience. If I cant figure it out in 15 minutes I dont want to mess with it.

Just a point on the original intent of this thread. Has anyone else noticed that "short skirts" are not working as well latelly? The concept has become so well known that it has reached the "fade it" stage, I guess.

Are you saying that he continued to give you 3 to 1 odds after you beat him the first time, even if he thought of it as a setup? He must not be too bright.

Not at all but I have the combination working on XP Pentuim and Windows 2000/Athalon so Im pretty sure it will work. Of course if your using the third monitor for some highend graphics application you may not be happy with it but for charting it works fine.

get a cheap ATI card for about $40. It will work fine.

I have experimented with trading different markets but have found it very difficult to maintain the neccessary concentration over the course of the day. I would get up at 3 am to trade Eurex but not be totally awake. By the time the asian markets took off I was wore out from playing the US...
