I've never seen Dead Or Alive, so I can't say. I will say that with as many influences he has and uses, none struck me more than the TV series "Ironside", and Monty Python references.

Heehee, This movie is an exaggeration of all the others. So if you didn't like them, you probably won't like this one. You may not like his style, but how could you possibly not like reservoir dogs?
