    Lets talk drummers

I don't have a favorite drummer per se but rather songs that I think the drums stand out. Actually this is stuff that's always been with me. Just a few otherwise the list would be too long. Mark Brezezicki - the whole damn Love album by the Cult but especially on the track "Love". Fine guitar...

I couldn't find the groove in it, but impressive none the less. I kept waiting for her to bust into the intro of "Crazy on You" by Heart.

Although I don't necessarily agree with their politics, they are still in my top 5 bands of all time. And Tom Morello (who is technically pretty damn good) rocks... hard: http://youtube.com/watch?v=y3egOnVtmUk&search=rage%20against%20the%20machine...

I'll say one more thing. The only thing a technical marvel at guitar is gonna impress is... ...another guitarist. I wonder how many guitarists are in the audience at a Malmy show.

Yeah, practicing to those guys can definitely improve your chops. It's good to have musicians like that pushing the envelope and really, I'm not against their style of play at all. It's the self-aggrandizement that bothers me.

I agree, the analogy is a little tilted but I think the message gets across just the same. Keywords being music and fluff. And lets add another...soul. Let's try another one of my crummy analogies: Neil Peart, probably one of the greatest technical rock drummers of all time. Which would...

Sorry for your pain. I've often wondered why so much emphasis is placed on baseball/roids, and football basically get's a free ride even though probably a good 90% of them are juiced... But that's another thread.

Malmshstein and his kind are to MUSIC what Brian Bozworth was to football. All fluff.

Do you yell and scream at the computer if you do a bad trade?

That's nothing. You should see what I do to my kids, the horror! And their pet iguana, Stanley, somehow came up missing the other day. Little Johnny was so sad. But hey life is hard right?

Do you yell and scream at the computer if you do a bad trade?

Hell yeah! Calculators, cell phones, pencil holders, staplers...whatever I can get my hands on is gonna fly across the room. But I have a rule, if it's connected to something, I won't throw it. Cordless phones are my favorite, they explode into a million pieces if you throw'em against a concrete...

    Every Few Weeks...

...On a Sunday before the futures open, you can count on a press release that just might goose the markets. Usually as of late, to the downside bias. Unless the sky is falling, who freaking writes a column on a Sunday anyway? It's probably just the usual weekend update, but the way they word...
